Generations of Middlebury students have participated in SIC since its founding in 1987 to actively manage the College's endowment, learn from one another, and strengthen the Middlebury finance community on-campus and on Wall Street. Our alumni have gone on to work at the world's largest financial institutions in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital, and Hedge Funds. SIC alumni can also be found in prominent roles at several leading non-financial firms, applying their SIC education in teamwork, leadership, and critical analysis. If you are an SIC alumnus, please contact us to share your memories from your time in SIC, speak to the group, join our contact list, or promote job/internship opportunities with our members.
Ahead of SIC's 35th anniversary in 2022, we traced the history of the organization's leadership over the preceding 20 years, connecting with former Co-Chairs about the way the committee and markets operated during their tenures. If you, or someone you know, was an SIC Co-Chair between 1987-2001, please contact us so we can build upon our understanding of the organization's history and connect alumni over multiple generations to strengthen Middlebury's finance community.
